Free Stuff @ Pasta Pomodoro
Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch? Well, they might be right, but this is close! SF's very own Pasta Pomodoro is offering you a free appetizer with purchase of any entree. Eventhough I haven't been to the Marina Pomodoro in a few years (Did you know that was the first? Yeah. Me either), I've always liked their dishes. Visit their website here and print out the coupon. They have a few SF locations. I heard about this offer on KKSF (one of Frisco's best stations) and their honey-voiced "Lights Out" lady Maria Lopez. Man, she could make a Big Mac sound good.
Need to know the best? The worst? Free stuff? The places to be at? Welcome to Don't Call It Frisco. A random collection of the best hidden places and great stuff in Frisco that you should know about, from a guy who's been around the block (you look familiar!). Now, you can look really cool to your friends when they ask "How did you find this place?" I'll review stuff based on just one visit (like I'm going to go back to sucky place for one more try?) and let you know if it's a hit or miss. Subscribe now and get the smarty info so you can humiliate your other so-called friends.
If you have any questions, suggestions, hallucinations, or comments, send an email to me at dont_call_it_frisco_blog@yahoo.com. I'll read it. Honest.
A native of Frisco (yes..natives can say that), Dan knows the streets of San Fran like the back of his hand. He trolls the city finding the places you need to know about and some things that are pretty useless. Each week, Dan finds the hidden SF full of bargins and best bites that city folk need to know about. As a marketing director, he lives in a nice apartment with TiVo and a dog named Yukon. He loves a good time, good friends, good imported draft beer, and a good city. Welcome to his world.
